Job Description
Zenskar is seeking a motivated Implementation Engineer with no prior professional experience to join their team. This role is designed for individuals eager to dive into the technical aspects of customer onboarding and data migration projects. The successful candidate will play a crucial part in assisting new customers by migrating their billing data into the Zenskar platform. This involves working with a variety of data sources and formats, requiring the engineer to clean, transform, and migrate this data. Key responsibilities include writing scripts, validating data accuracy, and contributing to the successful onboarding experience for each customer. Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end onboarding and configuration for large and complex customers.
- Assist with onboarding new customers onto the Zenskar platform.
- Work with structured and unstructured billing data from different sources.
- Configure customer accounts, billing rules, and pricing structures.
- Validate migrated data and ensure accuracy.
- Migrate billing data from platforms like Stripe or Chargebee.
- Clean and transform messy CSV datasets received from customers.
- Write scripts to process and import data through APIs.
- Run validation checks to ensure data consistency.
- Build scripts and tools to automate repetitive onboarding tasks.
- Improve data validation workflows.
- Document migration processes and best practices.
- Debug data inconsistencies and integration issues.
- Work closely with engineers to resolve technical problems.
- Help improve internal implementation processes over time.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic programming experience in Python, JavaScript, or a similar language.
- Understanding of APIs and REST-based integrations.
- Familiarity with data processing and scripting.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Comfort working with CSV, JSON, and structured datasets.
- Strong problem-solving ability.

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required. Basic programming experience in Python, JavaScript, or a similar language, an understanding of APIs and REST-based integrations, familiarity with data processing and scripting, and basic SQL knowledge are also essential.
The compensation includes an annual salary of INR 6-8 lacs, along with Meaningful equity in a fast-growing startup (ESOPs). Additionally, candidates will receive health insurance for themselves and their family, a learning & development budget, and top-tier equipment and tools.
