Job Description

CACTUS is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Product Analyst Intern to join its Products and AI Solutions team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in shaping our B2B sales, marketing, and product engagement strategies by extracting actionable insights from extensive datasets, product usage analytics, and comprehensive market intelligence reports. This internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to both the technical and strategic facets of a growing enterprise business, specifically at the intersection of product and sales intelligence.

CACTUS operates as a remote-first company, fostering a culture that emphasizes “accelerate from anywhere.” While this position is primarily remote, occasional travel to our Mumbai office may be necessary for business-related activities or participation in company-wide or team-specific events.

Responsibilities

• Utilize SQL and various analytical tools to work with and analyze large, complex datasets, extracting key insights related to business and product performance.
• Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify emerging trends, perform detailed investigations, and translate findings into clear, insightful summaries or impactful reports for stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with product managers and sales leadership to define, monitor, and report on critical Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), such as customer acquisition cost, churn risk assessment, and upselling opportunities.
• Evaluate the performance and effectiveness of sales campaigns, customer success initiatives, and various customer engagement models.
• Identify and analyze data trends to inform the development of product features specifically tailored to meet the needs of enterprise clients.
• Present data-driven insights through compelling visualizations and concise executive summaries to facilitate effective decision-making processes across the organization.
• Perform competitive and market research to benchmark product and sales performance against industry standards and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Business Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, or Economics.
• Possession of strong SQL skills is essential; prior experience working with large datasets is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
• Proven ability to translate complex data findings into strategic and actionable recommendations for both sales and product development teams.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and possess a strong desire to learn and expand knowledge.
• A strong interest in B2B SaaS models, enterprise product strategy, or sales enablement is considered a plus.
• Previous internship experience or academic projects involving customer analytics, sales strategy, or product operations is a significant advantage.
• Solid understanding of SQL for data analysis and manipulation.
• Familiarity with product lifecycle metrics and sales pipeline concepts.
