Responsibilities
- Demonstrated proficiency in both verbal and written communication.
- Strong analytical capabilities and a structured approach to problem-solving.
- Aptitude for rapidly acquiring and integrating new technologies and frameworks.
- Solid programming and debugging skills.
- Experience in managing raw and unstructured data effectively.
- Comprehensive understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Familiarity with coding standards and best practices.
- Knowledge of source control methodologies, versioning strategies, and branching techniques.
- Practical experience with Big Data tools and technologies, including Hadoop, HDFS, HIVE, SPARK, and Bash Scripting.
- Proficient in SQL programming.
- Experience with reporting tools such as Tableau, Dataiku, or MSTR is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Enterprise Data Warehousing concepts and Reference Data Management practices is desirable.
- Exposure to Control M (or similar job scheduling/orchestration tools) is beneficial.
- Experience in developing ELT/ETL pipelines within the Hadoop ecosystem is a plus.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps platform is a plus.
