Job Description
Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), Chennai unit, is seeking applications for a one-year apprenticeship training program for Graduate Engineers (B.E. & B.Tech), Diploma Holders in Engineering, and B.Com/BBA/BBM candidates who have passed their qualifications during 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, or 2025. The training is conducted under the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS). The program includes opportunities for short-term engagement as Trainee Engineers for successful Graduate Apprentices and advanced training for Technician and Optional Apprentices upon successful completion of their initial training, based on performance and selection tests.

Responsibilities
- Undergo apprenticeship training in the specified disciplines for one year.
- Participate in potential screening tests for advanced training or short-term engagement.

Qualifications
- Must be from Southern Region (Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Kerala, Pondicherry).
- Possess a Full-Time Regular Graduation/Diploma from an AICTE/DOTE/UGC recognized Board/University.
- Graduation/Diploma must have been obtained on or after 01-04-2021.
- Upper age limit is 25 years as on 01.01.2026, with relaxations for SC/ST (5 years), OBC (3 years), and PwBD (10 years).
- Minimum Percentage in Graduation/Diploma: 60% and above for General, OBC, EWS; 50% and above for SC/ST.
- Minimum Percentage in B.Com/BBA/BBM: 50% and above.
- Not have undergone or currently undergoing Apprenticeship Training under NATS or NAPS in any other establishment.
- Not have acquired or be pursuing higher qualifications (including Integrated PG Course).
- Not have more than 1 year of work experience in Private Organizations.

No, TA/DA will not be paid to candidates appearing for the selection process.
Other Information
Candidates are required to enroll in the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) Web Portal and provide their NATS Registration Number. Canteen facility is available on a chargeable basis, but no accommodation will be provided. Dates for walk-in selection are staggered based on discipline: 05.02.2026 for Diploma (ECE & MECH) & B.Com/BBA/BBM; 06.02.2026 for B.E./B.Tech (MECH) & B.E./B.Tech (CIVIL); and 07.02.2026 for B.E./B.Tech (ECE), B.E./B.Tech (EEE) & B.E./B.Tech (CSE). All selections start at 09:30 AM on their respective dates.
