Job Description
Capgemini is launching the Exceller AgentifAI Buildathon, a flagship competition focused on Generative AI (GenAI) and Agentic AI. This event is designed as an industry-academia engagement to help students create real-world AI solutions and make a lasting impact. Participants will tackle industry challenges using GenAI and Agentic AI technologies, developing intelligent solutions and showcasing their innovations to Capgemini industry experts. The competition aims to bridge the gap between academic learning and practical application of evolving technologies. It’s a platform for students to demonstrate their curiosity, capability, and innovative thinking. The competition involves a series of rounds, starting with a Pre-Qualification Round on campus, followed by virtual rounds for pitching and detailed technical solutioning, culminating in an in-person final presentation to executive leaders. Additionally, ‘Side Quests’ offer fun, engaging mini-challenges with opportunities for additional rewards and points contributing to the main leaderboard.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a team to develop AI solutions for real-world industry challenges.
- Utilize Generative AI (GenAI) and Agentic AI technologies.
- Participate in various competition rounds, including a pre-qualification round, elevator pitch, detailed technical solutioning, and final presentation.
- Develop and present proposed solutions, outlining problem understanding, approach, technical direction, and uniqueness.
- Showcase technical depth, feasibility, innovation, and alignment with enterprise use cases through prototypes, models, or functional modules.
- Articulate the business impact, scalability, user experience, and real-world applicability of the developed solutions.
- Engage in ‘Side Quests’ which are mini-challenges designed to add excitement and contribute to overall team scores.
- Receive guidance from assigned Capgemini mentors for non-technical queries and alignment with use-case objectives during Round 2.

- Students from the 2026 and 2027 graduating batches.
- Enrolled in selected colleges in India with an existing relationship with Capgemini.
- Participation is by invitation only, through an official invitation from the college/university and/or Capgemini.
- Must form a team of 5 members from the same college.
- One member acts as Team Captain to register and invite teammates.

The contest is open to students from the 2026 and 2027 graduating batches of selected colleges in India that have an existing relationship with Capgemini. Participation is by invitation only, and eligible students will receive an official invitation from their college/university and/or Capgemini with registration details.
Teams must consist of 5 members from the same college. One member registers as the Team Captain on the Superset platform and creates the team. The Captain then invites 4 teammates. Each invited member must verify their participation for the team registration to be complete.
The competition includes a campus-based Pre-Qualification Round, followed by virtual rounds: Round 1 (Elevator Pitch – Approach & Solution Screening) and Round 2 (The Deep Dive – Detailed Technical Solutioning). The competition culminates in Round 3 (Leadership Round – Final Presentation to Executive Leaders), which is an in-person event.
Yes, the top 10 teams will receive prizes and recognition. This includes cash prizes for the winning team, first runner-up, second runner-up, and the remaining seven finalist teams. Additionally, there are rewards for ‘Side Quest’ participants and potential consideration for future employment opportunities at Capgemini.
The registration window for the competition is from 20th March to 3rd April. Any registration submitted after this period will not be considered.
