Online Instructor (Academic & Non-Academic Subjects) – Job Description
Connect2Learn is actively seeking talented Online Instructors for both Academic and Non-Academic subjects to join their remote team. This part-time/full-time role involves delivering engaging one-on-one online sessions to a global student base. The ideal Online Instructor will possess strong subject matter expertise, excellent communication skills, and a passion for fostering student learning and engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver interactive one-on-one online teaching sessions tailored to individual student needs.
- Utilize provided lesson plans, PPTs, and in-house resources for structured instruction.
- Conduct a minimum of 2 hours of demo sessions and 2 hours of regular classes daily.
- Effectively engage students during demo sessions to facilitate enrollment in regular classes.
- Develop and implement creative lesson plans, engaging activities, and relevant assignments.
- Track student academic progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Cultivate a positive, inclusive, and interactive virtual learning atmosphere.
- Leverage online teaching tools and technology to optimize learning outcomes.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge in your subject area and modern teaching methodologies.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated strong subject matter expertise in academic or non-academic domains.
- Previous experience in online or traditional classroom teaching.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant academic or subject area (preferred).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in explaining complex concepts clearly and engagingly for students.
- Familiarity with online teaching platforms such as Zoho, Google Meet, etc.
- Proven ability to captivate students and foster a genuine interest in the subject matter.
- Teaching certifications are considered an advantage.
