Job Description

Data Platform Delivery – Usage and Metering – Product Specialist

The Data Platform and Delivery Management team is seeking a Product Specialist to support and contribute to the product management of Usage and Metering. The successful candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of Data Solutions products and delivery technologies. They will also play a pivotal role in defining and expanding the available product packages, as well as enhancing and implementing features that promote connectivity, scalability, and improved usability. This position requires close collaboration with a geographically diverse team spanning Content, Product, Strategy, Sales & Support, and Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Effectively manage the group’s daily influx of product requests, ensuring they are addressed with meaningful and timely solutions.
• Provide clear and thorough responses to inquiries, incorporating references to relevant supporting documentation.
• Support product owners in specifying and designing products that secure market share within the financial data investment landscape.
• Contribute to departmental product development initiatives.
• Identify recurring issues and requests, formulating recommendations for feature enhancements.
• Gather metrics related to product usage, reported issues, time to first response, and time to resolution.
• Pinpoint opportunities for enhancing Product Support.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive support and troubleshooting documentation.
• Proactively share Data Solutions product best practices with relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or finance is required.
• Possess strong technical and business acumen, including effective presentation and communication skills.
• Demonstrate professional experience and proficiency in three or more of the following areas:
• Capacity to comprehend complex technical product lines and effectively manage the associated business rules.
• Familiarity with financial databases utilized in financial markets.
• Knowledge of the Product Development Life Cycle, from ideation to go-to-market strategy.
• Experience in technical specification writing or maintenance for tools, enhancements, and products.
• Ability to learn automation frameworks and conceptualization.
