GRID-INDIA Executive Trainee Selection Process
The selection process consists of three major components:
GATE 2027
Group Discussion (GD)
Personal Interview (PI)Candidates who qualify in the relevant GATE 2027 paper will be considered for the next stage. Shortlisting for Group Discussion and Personal Interview will be conducted category-wise based on normalized GATE marks.
Candidates shortlisted for GD and PI may also undergo a Behavioral Assessment. The advertisement states that the assessment will be used only as an input during the interview and will not carry qualifying marks. Candidates must appear in all applicable selection stages and qualify in the Personal Interview for final consideration.

Selected Executive Trainees are required to execute a service agreement bond covering the prescribed training period and a requirement to serve the organization for at least three years thereafter.

₹2,50,000 for SC/ST/PwBD candidates
Application Fee
The application fee is ₹500, payable online. The application process will be treated as complete only after submission of the applicable fee.
SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen/Departmental candidates are exempted from the application fee. Candidates do not need to send a hard copy of the application.
