The Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA) has released the Officer Grade ‘A’ (Assistant Manager) Recruitment 2026 notification. A total of 30 vacancies are available in General, Research, Actuary and Official Language streams.

Research Stream
Candidates need a relevant Master’s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma in areas such as Economics, Finance, Statistics, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Business Analytics and related disciplines specified in the notification.
Actuary Stream
Candidates require graduation along with the prescribed qualification/exemption in all seven Core Principles subjects of the Institute of Actuaries of India examination.
Official Language Stream
Specific Master’s Degree combinations involving Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Economics or Commerce are prescribed for this stream.
Age Limit
The maximum age is 30 years as on July 31, 2026. Candidates born on or after August 1, 1996 meet the basic age requirement, subject to the applicable conditions. Age relaxation is available for eligible reserved categories.
Education Required:
General Stream
Candidates should have any one of the prescribed qualifications, including:
Master’s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma of minimum two years
Bachelor’s Degree in Law
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
CA/ACA or FCA
CS/ACS or FCS
CMA/ACMA or FCMA
CFA

Selection Process
The recruitment will be conducted in three stages:
Phase I → Phase II → Interview
Phase I contains two papers. Paper 1 tests English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning and General Awareness including the Financial Sector.
Phase II includes an English descriptive paper and a stream-specific Paper 2. The English paper includes areas such as essay writing, précis writing and comprehension.
For final selection:
