Application Fee Details
The examination fee varies according to the category of the applicant.
General and other candidates not covered by the concession categories: ₹500. Of this amount, ₹400 is refundable after deducting applicable bank charges, provided the candidate appears in the CBT.
Female and transgender candidates, Ex-Servicemen, SC/ST candidates, minority communities and Economically Backward Class (EBC) candidates: ₹250. This amount is refundable after deducting applicable bank charges, provided the candidate appears in the CBT.
The application fee must be paid online through an accepted payment method, such as internet banking, debit or credit card, or UPI.
The notification distinguishes EBC from EWS and OBC. EBC is a fee-concession category under the specified conditions and does not itself provide job reservation. Candidates claiming the EBC concession must possess the prescribed valid supporting document by the application closing date.
Refunds are subject to the conditions in the notification and are credited to the eligible Aadhaar-linked bank account. Fees are not refunded for rejected or incomplete applications.
