JOB DESCRIPTION:

South Coast Railway (SCR), Vijayawada Division, has officially invited applications for the engagement of 27 ATVM (Automatic Ticket Vending Machine) Facilitators on a contract basis. The recruitment is open to Retired Railway Employees, their Spouse/Adult Child, and the General Public who meet the prescribed eligibility conditions.
Selected candidates will work as facilitators to assist passengers in purchasing unreserved railway tickets through Automatic Ticket Vending Machines (ATVMs) at various railway stations across Vijayawada Division.
This engagement is purely contractual and does not provide any claim for permanent Railway employment.

Security Deposit

For General Public:

₹50,000 for NSG-1 & NSG-2 stations
₹25,000 for other station categories

The deposit is refundable after completion of the contract, subject to adjustment of pending dues. No EMD is required.

Nature of Work
The selected facilitator will:
Issue unreserved railway tickets through ATVMs
Guide passengers on using ticket vending machines
Assist passengers during peak hours
Accept digital payments
Maintain proper functioning of the assigned ATVM
Help improve usage of Smart Cards and QR Code payments
The facilitator is expected to provide courteous assistance and follow Railway Administration guidelines.

Salary
The Railway Administration will not pay any salary, wages, or allowance.
Instead, facilitators are allowed to retain the applicable bonus earned through ATVM Smart Card transactions, as per Railway rules. The notification also explains the applicable bonus percentages based on journey distance and station category.

Contract Period
Initial contract period: 2 Years
May be extended by 1 additional year based on Railway requirements and satisfactory performance.
