Job Description

Amber is seeking a highly motivated Operations Associate to support our US operations. This is a remote, full-time position ideal for individuals with a passion for customer service, sales, and the student housing industry. As an Operations Associate, you will play a crucial role in guiding prospective students through the accommodation booking process, ensuring a seamless and positive experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Conversion: Take ownership of inbound leads, proactively guiding potential residents through the booking process to convert inquiries into confirmed bookings.
  • Customer Interaction: Develop a comprehensive understanding of each student’s unique needs and preferences to provide tailored accommodation recommendations.
  • Market Expertise: Acquire and maintain in-depth knowledge of student housing options, pricing structures, and optimal locations to deliver expert guidance to prospective residents.
  • Follow-Up: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with potential clients through consistent and timely follow-up communications to drive booking closures.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with Marketing and Supply teams to streamline the booking process and continuously enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Data Management: Maintain meticulous records of all customer interactions, inquiries, and booking details within the CRM system.
  • Target Achievement: Consistently meet and exceed established sales targets and key performance indicators.

Qualifications

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in neutral English are essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to actively listen and understand customer needs.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in objection handling, negotiation, and closing techniques.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools or similar software is preferred.
  • Prior experience in telesales or a related field is considered a plus.
  • Industry experience in real estate, hospitality, business development, or customer service is highly desirable.
  • A bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 60% in academics is required.
