Job Description

We are currently seeking an Operations Analyst to join our team, advocating for a Customer-First philosophy by ensuring optimal service uptime across Cloud, Server, Network, Storage, and Database infrastructure. Guided by the Working Backwards methodology, this role involves designing and optimizing monitoring tools with a strong emphasis on customer needs. Collaboration with global teams will be essential, embracing a TPS mindset to Think Big, Start Small, and Scale Quickly. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who thrive in a dynamic, customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Proactively monitor all L1 resources across various domains, encompassing the entire IT environment (Cloud, Server, Network, Storage, and Database), and implement corrective measures to maintain high service uptime.
• Work either evening OR night shifts as required.
• Develop and configure monitoring alerts and dashboards.
• Design and develop infrastructure monitoring and reporting tools, alongside configuration management solutions.
• Conduct fine-tuning of configurations to ensure the ongoing performance and functionality of existing monitoring solutions.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation and reports, providing regular status updates on identified tasks.
• Manage outage processes and escalations according to standard procedures, while actively following up with diverse engineering teams on pending high-priority tickets.
• This position requires the selected candidate to be available for evening or night shift work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proficient communication skills (capable of effective communication with US & Canada-based teams).
• 0-3 years of relevant experience.
• Solid understanding of cloud providers, such as AWS and GCP.
• Familiarity with the basics of Linux scripting languages.
• Knowledge of configuration management tools, including Ansible, Puppet, and Chef.
