Job Description
NPCIL, Tarapur Maharashtra Site, is inviting online applications from eligible Indian Citizens for various positions to contribute to its challenging spectrum of responsibilities in nuclear technology. - Specific educational qualifications and experience vary by post.
- For Stipendiary Trainee/Scientific Assistant (Category-I) – Diploma Holders: Diploma in Engineering with not less than 60% marks in relevant discipline (3 years after SSC/HSC or 2 years Lateral Entry after HSC). English must be a subject at SSC or HSC.
- For Scientific Assistant/B (Civil): Diploma in Civil Engineering with not less than 60% marks (3 years after SSC/HSC or 2 years Lateral Entry after HSC). English must be a subject at SSC or HSC.
- For Stipendiary Trainee/Scientific Assistant (Health Physics) – Science Graduates: B.Sc. with minimum 60% marks (Physics as principal, Chemistry/Maths/Stats/ECS as subsidiary OR Chemistry as principal, Physics/Maths/Stats/ECS as subsidiary OR Physics, Chemistry, Maths with equal weightage). Mathematics at HSC level and English at SSC/HSC are essential.
- For Stipendiary Trainee/Technician (Category-II) – Maintainer: SSC (10th) with minimum 50% in Science and Mathematics individually + 2 years ITI certificate in relevant trade. For trades < 2 years ITI, 1 year relevant experience required. English at SSC is compulsory.
- For Stipendiary Trainee/Technician (Category-II) – Operator: HSC (10+2) or ISC in Science stream (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) with minimum 50% aggregate. English at SSC is compulsory.
- For X-Ray Technician (Technician-C): HSC (10+2) with minimum 60% in Science + 1 year Medical Radiography/X-Ray Technique Trade Certificate + minimum 02 years relevant post-qualification full-time work experience.
- For Assistant Gr.1 (HR/F&A/C&MM): Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized University/Institution.
- For all posts, full-time, regular qualifications from recognized Universities/Institutions are required. Distance learning, part-time, private, or open schooling qualifications are not considered.
- Candidates must have passed the qualifying examination by the closing date of application (04th February 2026).
