Job Description

Astreya is seeking a highly detail-oriented and self-motivated Project & Program Management I professional to coordinate and execute diverse data center networking projects. This role involves managing projects from their inception through to successful delivery, requiring the ability to address varying levels of complexity. The ideal candidate will be adept at problem-solving, prioritizing tasks to ensure on-time completion, and managing a significant volume of projects and their associated issues concurrently. This position offers a remote work opportunity based in India.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute projects from initiation to delivery.
• Manage data center networking projects of varying numbers, sizes, and complexities.
• Resolve problems and escalate issues in a timely manner.
• Track a high volume of projects and project issues simultaneously.
• Escalate and track various project blockers effectively.
• Manage cross-functional and technical projects.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for vendor partners and internal stakeholders.
• Oversee and track program milestones, timelines, and overall deliverables.
• Identify potential risks and develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with functional teams across initiation, deployment, and post-deployment phases.
• Facilitate regularly scheduled meetings with core project teams.
• Contribute to internal process improvements by identifying and resolving gaps across multiple teams and functions.
• Utilize metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Provide regular status updates on project progress.
• Evaluate post-project results against established metrics and recommend or implement changes to enhance delivery practices and processes.
• Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (B.S/B.A) from a four-college or university, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 0 to 2 years of related experience and/or training.
• Ability to build stable working relationships internally.
• Proficiency in following standard practices and procedures when analyzing situations or data.
• Understanding of project management team dynamics, including conflict resolution and meeting schedule timelines.
• Excellent communication skills, encompassing verbal, written, and documentation abilities.
• Capacity to manage multiple projects and assignments concurrently.
• Self-starter with the ability to quickly learn new tools and familiarize with new processes and technologies with minimal assistance.
• Familiarity with creating spreadsheets, presentation material, and project/process documentation.
• Strong observational and analytical skills, including the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to track and report metrics effectively.
• Proficiency in managing risks.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and communicate project updates to client executives.
