Job Description

Capco is seeking a Gen AI Engineer to join their team in Bangalore or Pune. This role involves designing and implementing workflow orchestration solutions for AI programs, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and utilizing DevOps best practices for continuous integration and deployment within an Agile framework. The engineer will leverage their experience with the Azure platform to build and manage cloud-based infrastructure, staying current with the latest advancements in AI and backend systems. Responsibilities also include participating in code reviews, troubleshooting complex technical issues, developing comprehensive documentation, and ensuring adherence to regulatory compliance, data protection, and privacy regulations. Responsibilities

• Design and implement workflow orchestration solutions using Python and Terraform to streamline and automate processes within the AI program.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, develop technical specifications, and deliver high-quality code in an Agile environment.
• Utilize DevOps best practices to continuously integrate, test, and deploy code updates, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency, using approved client strategic tooling (Jira, Clarity, Rally) for backlog management, requirements, and reporting.
• Leverage Azure platform experience to build and manage cloud-based infrastructure, optimizing for cost, performance, and security, using products such as Azure DevOps, Azure App Service, and Azure Functions.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in AI, analytics, and backend system engineering to ensure clients remain competitive and innovative.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, working closely with other team members and stakeholders to ensure timely resolution and minimal impact on the AI program.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for the backend systems, including architecture diagrams, API specifications, and operational guides.
• Actively contribute to the ongoing improvement of client’s regulatory compliance by ensuring all systems adhere to relevant data protection and privacy regulations, as well as internal policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Python.
• Experience with popular Python web frameworks such as Flask or FastAPI.
• Experience in Machine Learning and Deep Learning.
• Experience/knowledge in using Generative AI / OpenAI LLMs, including GPT, NLP, and Transformers.
• Exposure to OpenAI services in Azure is preferred.
• Experience working in a cloud environment, such as Microsoft Azure.
• Proficient using version control systems such as Git.
• Knowledge of relational databases, such as SQL Server.
• Familiarity with JavaScript would be beneficial.
• Ability to write unit tests and conduct Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, and deployment.
• Experience working in an agile environment.
• Ability to write clear and comprehensive documentation for code and APIs.
