Collaborative Engineer, GitHub Copilot – Talent Pipeline – Job Description
Atmosera is seeking an AI-forward Collaborative Engineer for a talent pipeline initiative focused on GitHub Copilot and Amazon Q. This remote contract role, operating on India Standard Time (IST), requires expert-level knowledge in AI tools and developer enablement. The Collaborative Engineer will design and deliver hands-on developer sprints, mentor participants, and promote responsible AI usage. This position is ideal for seasoned engineers passionate about generative AI and empowering development teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver structured, hands-on developer sprints centered around GitHub Copilot and Amazon Q.
- Facilitate engaging live coding sessions, demonstrations, and collaborative labs for developers.
- Mentor participants by guiding them through real-world challenges, prompt engineering, and feature implementation.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive instructional materials, including curriculum, documentation, and best-practice guides.
- Adapt teaching strategies based on participant feedback and learning progress to optimize comprehension.
- Champion responsible AI usage, emphasizing security, ethical considerations, and data privacy.
- Collaborate with internal teams to refine training content and delivery methods.

Required Qualifications

- Advanced prompt engineering skills for generative AI platforms.
- Proficiency in at least one of Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Java.
- Expert fluency with Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) like VS Code and JetBrains.
- Strong understanding of Generative AI, MCP usage, and Agentic Orchestration.
- Demonstrated experience with curriculum development and public speaking.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in a software engineering or developer enablement role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
