Job Description
Amazon Transportation Services (ATS), a key component of Amazon's global logistics network, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Analyst to join a dynamic analytics team. As the earth’s best logistics service provider, ATS ensures smooth product journeys throughout the supply chain, maximizing customer experience. In this role, you will tackle challenging logistical problems with the potential to generate millions of dollars in savings. Your responsibilities will include:
- Identifying underlying trends and causal factors beyond readily apparent surface-level data. This involves proactive investigation and a critical approach to problem-solving.
- Thriving in ambiguous situations, actively seeking clarification, and embracing challenges head-on. You will be comfortable working with incomplete information and developing solutions iteratively.
- Effectively collaborating with multiple teams across various departments, rapidly understanding new business areas and their operational specifics.

Responsibilities
- • Gain a comprehensive understanding of the operational processes across all Return on Capital (ROC) functions.
- • Design and develop highly available dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs) using SQL, Excel, and Quicksight to visualize critical data and track progress.
- • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their requirements and effectively map them to relevant data sources within the data warehouse.
- • Take ownership of the delivery and maintenance of regular metrics reports and dashboards for senior management.
- • Analyze processed data to identify trends, anomalies, and outliers; translating these findings into actionable insights via dashboards and visualizations.
- • Manage and execute high-priority projects – often involving cross-functional teams and significant impact – to improve operational performance and optimize ROC.
- • Conduct comprehensive business analysis and data querying utilizing appropriate tools and techniques.
- • Cultivate strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, including business teams, engineering teams, and partner teams, to ensure alignment and effective collaboration.
Education Qualification
- - Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Data Science, Engineering).
- - Proven experience in defining business requirements and leveraging data and metrics to extract actionable business insights and drive strategic decision-making.
