What you will do

Goals for this position

Maintain the production environment by keeping an eye on availability and considering system health from all angles.
Create systems and software to oversee platform applications and infrastructure.
Boost our software solutions’ time-to-market, quality, and dependability.
Analyze and improve system performance with the goal of expanding our capabilities, anticipating client needs, and fostering innovation for ongoing progress.
Lead the engineering and operational support for several large-scale distributed software applications.

Accountabilities

Compile and evaluate operating system and application metrics to help with fault finding and performance tuning.
Collaborate with development teams to enhance services by implementing stringent testing and release protocols.
Engage in capacity planning, platform management, and system design consulting.
Automate and uplift systems and services to create sustainable ones.
Strike a balance between well-defined service-level objectives and feature development speed and reliability.

Education Requirement

a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or its equivalent

Good to have skills

a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or its equivalent
Programming proficiency in one or more high-level languages, including Python, Java, C/C++, Ruby, and JavaScript; familiarity with Amazon S3, NFS, and frameworks for dynamic resource management (Apache Mesos, Kubernetes, Yarn)
solid familiarity with cloud computing platforms like Google Cloud, Azure, and Amazon
strong ability to analyze and solve problems
Outstanding interpersonal and teamwork abilities
knowledge of DevOps techniques and resources, including CI/CD
familiarity with networking concepts such as load balancing, DHCP, DNS, and IP addressing
Create and offer full stack software application operational support.
Oversee database and cloud system upkeep, troubleshooting issues as they arise with production.
strong practical knowledge of containerization and Kubernetes technologies
Keep an eye on all alerts.
