Job Description
As a Data Scientist specializing in building analytical models for the banking, NBFC, and insurance sectors, you will be primarily responsible for leveraging machine learning algorithms and statistical models to optimize business processes throughout the customer lifecycle. This includes the entire model lifecycle: building the model pipeline, deploying it, and providing ongoing support until complete adoption. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop predictive models for credit risk assessment and personalized customer experiences. Furthermore, you will identify suitable customer bases for cross-selling and up-selling campaigns and execute these campaigns periodically.

Responsibilities
- 1. **Writing Optimized Code:** Develop and maintain efficient, scalable code for model pipelines, implementing best coding practices to ensure optimal performance and resource utilization.
- 2. **Version Control and Lifecycle Configuration:** Utilize best practices for managing codebase changes using available version control resources. Maintain and update configuration files to effectively manage the entire lifecycle of data science models.
- 3. **Extracting Usable Information from Data:** Translate business requirements into data-driven solutions and actionable insights. Conduct comprehensive exploratory data analysis to identify trends and patterns. Create and maintain a feature repository to meticulously document and manage features used in models.
- 4. **Building Robust Models:** Develop reliable models that generalize well across diverse time periods and customer segments. Continuously monitor and improve model performance to adapt to evolving data and business needs.
- 5. **Publishing Model Outcomes:** Clearly communicate model results and insights to stakeholders. Facilitate model adoption by ensuring alignment with business requirements and user-friendliness.
Education Qualification
- Master's degree/PGDM in Statistics/Economics OR MCA/IIT B.Tech/Bachelor's degree in Statistics with up to 2 years of relevant experience.
Skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint; SQL; Python; Supervised and unsupervised machine learning algorithms; Excellent communication skills; Collaborative mindset; Proactive approach to problem-solving and stakeholder engagement.
