L&T GenAI Trainee Recruitment 2026

As a GenAI Trainee at Larsen & Toubro, you will support the development and implementation of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Generative AI, and Computer Vision solutions.

The role provides exposure to the AI development lifecycle, including data preparation, model development, training, testing, validation, deployment, and performance optimization.

You will work with AI Engineers, Data Scientists, Software Developers, Product Teams, and Business Stakeholders to develop intelligent applications and automation solutions.

Machine Learning and AI Development

Assist with collecting, cleaning, preprocessing, and validating structured and unstructured datasets.
Support the development, training, and evaluation of machine learning and deep learning models.
Perform feature engineering, model tuning, and performance optimization.
Assist with model testing, benchmarking, and documentation.
Support the deployment and monitoring of AI/ML models.
Analyze model performance and recommend improvements.

Generative AI Development

Assist in developing applications using Large Language Models (LLMs) and multimodal AI models.
Support prompt engineering and prompt optimization.
Participate in Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), fine-tuning, and model customization projects.
Develop and test AI-powered chatbots, virtual assistants, and content generation applications.
Evaluate AI model outputs for quality, accuracy, safety, and Responsible AI compliance.
Integrate Generative AI capabilities into enterprise applications through APIs and frameworks.

Computer Vision Engineering

Assist in developing image and video analytics solutions.
Support object detection, image classification, segmentation, tracking, and OCR models.
Work with image and video datasets for annotation, labeling, augmentation, and preprocessing.
Assist in training and evaluating models using OpenCV, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and YOLO.
Support the deployment and optimization of computer vision models for real-time applications.

Data Analytics and AI Integration

Conduct Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) and generate insights from large datasets.
Create visualizations, reports, and dashboards.
Support the development of data pipelines for AI applications.
Integrate AI models with web, mobile, and enterprise applications.
Assist in developing APIs, microservices, and cloud-based AI solutions.
Participate in software testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.

Research and Collaboration

Explore emerging AI, Machine Learning, Generative AI, and Computer Vision technologies.
Participate in proof-of-concept development and innovation initiatives.
Prepare technical documentation and project reports.
Follow data privacy, cybersecurity, ethical AI, and Responsible AI practices.
Collaborate with technical teams and continuously improve AI-related skills.
