Responsibilities
- **Renewable Energy Innovations:** Design and develop AI-powered solutions to optimize the efficiency of solar panels, maximizing energy output and minimizing waste.
- **Grid Optimization and Control:** Create innovative AR/VR-enabled control centers for enhanced monitoring, management, and control of power grids, improving operational efficiency and reducing downtime.
- **Grid Resilience and Climate Impact:** Develop AI-enhanced simulation tools to model and predict the resilience of power grids during extreme weather events and natural disasters, enabling effective disaster response and mitigation strategies.
- **EV Charging Infrastructure:** Engineer a Grid-Integrated Vehicle-to-X (V2X) Management System. This system will manage the bidirectional flow of energy between electric vehicles and other entities such as buildings, homes, or other vehicles, optimizing grid stability and resource utilization.
- **Power Sector Research Tools (PRAGYA):** Contribute to the advancement of the AI-powered PRAGYA innovation platform. This platform provides research and development tools specifically for the power sector, aiming to boost innovation and efficiency in power generation, transmission and distribution.
- **Power Sector Research Tools (SLD Automation):** Develop an AI-enhanced tool to automate the creation and maintenance of Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), streamlining workflows and reducing errors in power system design and analysis.
- **Open Innovation:** Propose and develop software solutions utilizing cutting-edge technologies to address crucial challenges within the power sector. Focus areas include improvements in power transmission, distribution, renewable energy generation, and electric vehicle infrastructure. This offers the flexibility to address a problem of your choice within the defined parameters.
Education Qualification
- Students pursuing degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, and all related Computer Science branches are encouraged to apply.
