Job Description

GIS Associate position available at Wipro's Hyderabad office. This role requires a candidate with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment. The position involves working with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and GPS technologies, utilizing various mapping products and adhering to established business procedures and policies.

Education Qualification

• Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree (BE/B.Tech/BCom/BSc/BBA/BA/BBM). Applicants whose results are pending are not eligible to apply.

Skills

• Essential skills for this position include: excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; strong interpersonal skills and a positive, proactive approach to work; demonstrable experience in using internet websites and navigation apps; the ability to follow policies and procedures diligently; strong analytical and logical reasoning skills; and the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision. For experienced candidates, a minimum of one year of experience in mapping is required. All candidates should be proficient in working with GIS/GPS and other mapping products. A strong work ethic and problem-solving skills are crucial. Wipro offers a 1-way free cab facility within a 35km radius of Gachibowli and a 5-day work week with 2 rotational week offs.
