About the Company

The Central Warehousing Corporation (CWC), a Navratna Central Public Sector Undertaking operating under the administrative oversight of the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, provides scientific storage solutions for agricultural inputs, produce, and other designated commodities. Furthermore, it offers logistics infrastructure encompassing Container Freight Stations (CFSs), Inland Container Depots (ICDs), Land Custom Stations, and Air Cargo Complexes, among others, to facilitate import-export operations.

Job Description

CWC is seeking to engage six (06) Young Professionals. These initial engagements are for a fixed term of two years, with the possibility of a one-year extension, thereby establishing a maximum term of three years (2+1).

Responsibilities

•  Data Analysis

• **Position Code: 02 Young Professional (Marketing & Business Development)-Raipur**
•  **Market Research:** Conduct in-depth market research to identify stakeholders, market trends, competitors, and potential customers/users, and perform analysis to effectively position CWC’s services.
•  **Stakeholder Engagement:** (i) **Warehousing for Post Harvest Value Chain:** Engage with farmers, traders, Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), Farmer Producer Companies (FPCs), banks, trading platforms, and other related stakeholders at the Panchayat, Block, and District levels to understand their requirements and educate them about CWC’s facilities and services. (ii) **Warehousing and Incidental Services for Private Foodgrain, e-Commerce & Industrial Business:** Engage with manufacturers and traders who are bulk procurers of agricultural commodities at identified procurement clusters to understand their requirements and educate them about CWC’s facilities and services, from procurement as an agent to warehousing, handling, and transportation. Engage with e-commerce operators, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), and their agents for warehousing requirements of the e-commerce supply chain and industrial goods. (iii) **3PL, 4PL, 5PL:** Engage with operators and their agents in the 3PL, 4PL, and 5PL domains to understand their requirements in identified clusters and educate them about CWC’s facilities and services. (iv) **EXIM & CTO:** Engage with all stakeholders of Export-Import (EXIM) and Private Container Train Operators (PCTO), including but not limited to shipping lines, freight forwarders, consolidators, OEMs, statutory authorities like Customs, Indian Railways, Private Freight Terminal (PFT)/ General Cargo Terminal (GCT) Operators, 3PL/4PL providers and their agents, sister concerns, allied departments, and organizations, to understand their requirements and educate them about CWC’s facilities and services.
•  **Business Development:** Assist in developing and implementing strategies to promote CWC’s business verticals, attract new clients, and expand the customer base for the different services offered, giving due consideration to the commercial, operational, and statutory aspects of stakeholders, such as Indian Railways and Customs, by leveraging domain knowledge in the said aspects.
•  **Relationship Building:** Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to foster long-term partnerships and repeat business opportunities. Maintain regular communication with existing and potential stakeholders to understand their needs, address any concerns, provide after-sales support, and ensure stakeholder satisfaction.
•  **Sales & Marketing Publicity:** Create marketing materials, presentations, and other relevant documentation to showcase CWC’s services effectively during stakeholder meetings and events. Young Professionals are expected to reach target stakeholders through direct marketing, social media, WhatsApp, and cold calling targeted to specific demographics.
•  **Training and Workshops:** Organize training sessions, workshops, awareness campaigns, and field visits at CWC’s warehouses and facilities to educate stakeholders about the benefits and value of utilizing CWC’s services. Provide information on the processes, procedures, and requirements for potential stakeholders to avail themselves of CWC’s services.
•  **Feedback Collection:** Gather feedback from stakeholders to understand their needs and preferences better, and communicate their valuable inputs to CWC management for continuous improvement.
•  **Market Expansion:** Identify potential areas for market expansion and recommend business development strategies to penetrate new regions and markets.
•  **Sales Targets:** Set and achieve sales targets for respective business verticals, track progress, and report on a regular basis.
•  **Reporting:** Prepare regular reports on business development activities, achievements, challenges, and opportunities for management review.
•  Stay informed and up-to-date with all CWC verticals, newly implemented and planned policies by CWC/Government of India (GOI), prevailing relevant GOI schemes, and guidelines for e-commerce, logistics, and supply chain operators.
•  Work in coordination with the Regional Marketing Head and Regional Manager of the respective region.
• **Position Code: 03 Young Professional (Project Engineer -Civil/ Execution)-Corporate Office**
•  Assist the controlling officer in contract management and construction monitoring. Compile progress reports from construction sites and prepare and present technical data sheets relevant to construction activities planned or in progress in the CWC Region.
•  Assist CWC Project Officials in conducting test checks on works or materials provided by the Package contractor by visiting the project site. Assist in field work measurements as required by CWC project officials.
•  If required, certify the quantity and quality of work completed by the Package Contractor.
•  Prepare detailed measurement reports, abstracts of cost, Bills of Quantities (BOQ), etc., for approval of measurements and test checks by CWC Project Officials within the prescribed time limit to ensure timely payment to the package contractor. Prepare and submit quantity deviation statements incorporating all probable/executed quantities of works and extra/substituted items as per Drawings released/instructions given at the Site.

Qualifications

• **Young Professional (Management Information System):** Full-time Regular Bachelor’s Degree (B.Tech/ B.E.) in Computer Science/IT or Master of Computer Applications (MCA) from a recognized University or Institution
• **Young Professional (Marketing & Business Development)-Raipur:** Two-year Full-time Regular Post Graduate Diploma/Post Graduate Degree in General Management/Marketing/ Logistics/Supply Chain Management/Sales & Marketing Management from a recognized University or Institution
• **Young Professional (Project Engineer -Civil/ Execution)-Corporate Office, Raipur, Panchkula, Bhubaneswar:** Full time regular Degree in Civil Engineering.
