Customer Operations & Writing Specialist – Job Description

Clerky is seeking a dedicated Customer Operations & Writing Specialist to join our remote, full-time team. In this role, you will craft empathetic customer responses using Help Scout, develop and maintain our knowledge base, and collaborate with engineering on issue resolution. You will leverage our platform to enhance customer document workflows and provide critical feedback on new features, all while working independently in a remote setting.




Key Responsibilities

  • Author precise and empathetic responses to customer inquiries via Help Scout.
  • Create, update, and expand help center documentation based on customer needs.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to diagnose and resolve customer-reported software issues.
  • Utilize company software to design and implement new customer document generation processes.
  • Test new software features and bug fixes, relaying user feedback to the product team.
