The Data Analyst will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of Location Strategy projects, adhering to established plans, budgets, quality standards, and governance frameworks. The incumbent will be responsible for optimizing staffing levels, generating accurate forecasts, managing scheduling, and strategically allocating workforce resources through comprehensive data analysis, with the primary objective of enhancing the overall customer experience. This involves analyzing business volume and identifying trends to effectively manage staffing optimization, forecasting, and scheduling resources. A key aspect of the role involves collaborating closely with various teams across the bank to harmonize and integrate workforce management processes and governance structures. Furthermore, the Data Analyst will be tasked with developing and implementing robust workforce management strategies, processes, and controls designed to mitigate potential risks and maintain efficient operational workflows. Identifying areas for potential improvement within existing workforce management processes, and subsequently providing well-supported recommendations for change, is also a critical responsibility. The successful candidate will actively participate in projects and initiatives aimed at boosting workforce management efficiency and overall effectiveness. This also encompasses developing and managing detailed staffing schedules to align with evolving business needs and comprehensive operational readiness plans. Qualifications
- Demonstrable experience working within a Business Intelligence function within a large and complex organizational environment.
- A strong educational background in mathematics, computing, or a closely related field is required, or equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
- Expert-level proficiency in building insightful dashboards using Tableau is essential, with data sourced from data warehouses, ideally Microsoft SQL Server.
- Strong SQL skills coupled with a thorough knowledge of relational and dimensional database concepts, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tasks, and established design patterns.
- A solid understanding of IT Service Management processes, based on the ITIL Foundation framework, is also necessary.
- A proven track record of effectively interacting with senior stakeholders and managing communications with clarity and precision.
- Experience collaborating effectively across multiple teams, while also taking a leadership role on specific projects, is essential.
