Seller Success Advisor – Job Description
eBay is actively seeking a dedicated Seller Success Advisor to join their HiPo team in India. This remote role is pivotal in ensuring a seamless and successful onboarding experience for new sellers on the eBay platform. As a Seller Success Advisor, you will guide sellers through core functionalities, best practices, and ongoing support to foster their growth and satisfaction. This full-time position offers the opportunity to contribute significantly to the seller community and eBay’s mission.
Key Responsibilities
- Initiate contact with new sellers, inviting them to join the dedicated program.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for sellers through calls, emails, and virtual meetings, offering support on platform tools and policies.
- Assist sellers with product listing, inventory setup, and listing optimization strategies.
- Educate sellers on effective promotional activities, advertising tools, and eBay’s selling best practices.
- Monitor seller activity and performance metrics to ensure a healthy and steady ramp-up on the platform.
- Identify and resolve seller challenges, whether technical, operational, or performance-related, escalating issues to cross-functional teams when necessary.
- Provide regular performance insights and actionable plans to help sellers enhance their sales.
- Conduct regular health check-ins with sellers to gather feedback and ensure high levels of satisfaction.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth resolution of seller issues.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in seller operations or a related field.
- Proven experience in account management, client onboarding, customer success, or seller operations, preferably within e-commerce or a marketplace.
- Excellent command of both spoken and written English communication.
- Strong aptitude for problem-solving and the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
- Proficiency in using CRM tools, Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets, and foundational e-commerce technologies.
- Demonstrated customer-first mindset and a strong orientation towards service.
- Capacity to effectively manage numerous accounts and competing priorities.
- Ability to analyze data and comfort working with performance metrics.
