Job Description

This role is within Citco’s core Fund Administration business, specifically on the team responsible for alternative asset and accounting services, which is highly respected in the industry. The team leverages continuous investment in learning and technology to ensure a seamless client experience. The Operations Analyst – Data Operations will be responsible for managing and optimizing inbound and outbound data file routing, monitoring, and issue resolution.

Responsibilities

  • Set up inbound and outbound file routing jobs based on requests from internal and external business and technical teams.
  • Configure all necessary monitoring jobs, alerts, and notifications to the appropriate distribution lists, adhering to specified requirements and target audiences.
  • Collaborate with other groups to ensure all security measures are integrated into the team’s delivery jobs.
  • Work with brokers, vendors, and investment managers to establish FTP accounts and ensure connectivity.
  • Proactively utilize key file delivery tools and dashboards to identify failed or missing files and work with stakeholders to resolve issues promptly.
  • Respond to file alerts sent to Data Management and take effective action to address identified issues.
  • Keep the user community informed by providing regular updates on file issues, delays, and estimated times of arrival (ETAs).
  • Escalate issues or concerns to management with well-defined recommendations and solutions.
  • Formulate ad-hoc solutions and workarounds to facilitate short-term file movement and delivery.
  • Support management in identifying, analyzing, and implementing process and system improvement initiatives.
  • Identify and lead initiatives to reduce manual work in file delivery, enhance feed quality, and decrease errors and alerts.
  • Collaborate with other connectivity groups to align overall processes and simplify the end-to-end user experience.
  • Actively engage with and stay updated on Data Management policies, trends, and emerging themes, sharing this information with the team.
  • Perform other related duties as required to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Finance/Economics or Computer Sciences. New graduates with related degrees are encouraged to apply.
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in the financial services industry or a BPO setting is advantageous.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications is mandatory.
  • Comfortable operating within a fast-paced and continuously evolving work environment.
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficient problem-solving skills.
  • A proactive and positive (‘can-do’) attitude.
  • Comfortable working collaboratively within a team environment.
