Responsibilities

• Contribute to the creation and implementation of robust cyber defense strategies designed to protect company assets from cyber threats. This includes actively monitoring and analyzing security alerts and events to promptly identify potential security breaches or vulnerabilities. Conduct thorough security assessments and penetration testing to evaluate the effectiveness of existing security measures. Provide support in incident response activities, encompassing the investigation of security incidents and the implementation of corrective actions. Collaborate effectively with various teams to ensure adherence to industry-leading cybersecurity best practices and relevant regulatory compliance standards. Maintain comprehensive documentation of processes, procedures, and findings to facilitate knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills

• A solid understanding of core cybersecurity principles and recommended best practices is essential. Familiarity with a range of network security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and endpoint security solutions is highly desirable. Experience working with various cybersecurity tools and frameworks, such as Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability scanners is preferred. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with meticulous attention to detail, are crucial. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly articulate technical information to individuals with varying levels of technical expertise. Prior experience in cybersecurity roles or internships is advantageous, but not mandatory.
