Job Description

You should be familiar with fundamental PHP since WordPress themes are typically designed using core PHP as a templating language. You will also need to be proficient in React since you will be working on custom Gutenberg development.

You should be familiar with basic PHP since core PHP is typically used as a templating language while developing WordPress themes. You will need to work on custom Gutenberg development, therefore having a solid understanding of React is also necessary.

Responsibilities

  • This is a full-time, totally remote job. Applications are accepted from all over the world.
  • Create responsive WordPress themes with Photoshop, Figma, or other design programs.
  • Adjust external designs for WordPress while keeping future maintenance and precision in check.
  • capable of working with basic PHP and in charge of frontend development PHP code linked to themes.

Education Qualifications

  • Possibility to work on decoupled WordPress projects using Next.js and REST API/GraphQL as the backend and React/Next.js expertise with help.

Skills

  • strong CSS abilities, including experience with preprocessors such as SASS and understanding of CSS internals.
  • core JavaScript (ES6/ESNext) proficiency, with the ability to use jQuery for basic themeing.

  • ReactJS expertise is necessary for developing custom Gutenberg.
  • proficiency with WordPress, including familiarity with the customizer API, loop, template hierarchy, and settings API.
  • mastery of bespoke Gutenberg development to create scalable, durable blocks with excellent UX and UI.
  • Expertise setting up JavaScript build tools from scratch, such as Webpack, Babel, NPM, etc.
