Job Description
The Associate Systems Administrator will join the AMG/Cloud Reliability team, which operates around the clock to manage observability and offer essential technical support for Notified’s production infrastructure and applications. This role is integral to maintaining the high reliability of the company’s infrastructure and applications. Responsibilities include day-to-day monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolution of application and infrastructure issues, participating in a 3-shift support model. The role involves contributing to the software development lifecycle by assisting with application releases, establishing monitoring solutions, and supporting infrastructure build-outs in the cloud. Additionally, the Associate Systems Administrator will manage and maintain support and observability toolsets, act as a communication bridge between various technical and business teams, and develop and maintain product support tools like run books and knowledge bases. A key aspect of the role will be automating tasks using scripting languages such as Python, Terraform, and Powershell.

Responsibilities
- Perform 24/7 monitoring and troubleshooting of application and infrastructure issues, including incident tracking and resolution.
- Operate within a 3-shift per day support model (6 am-3 pm IST, 1 pm-10 pm IST, 9 pm-6 am IST), with shifts currently scheduled for 5 days per week.
- Develop, collect, maintain, and distribute key technology metrics related to reliability and performance.
- Participate in the software development lifecycle, contributing to application releases, establishing monitoring, and supporting infrastructure build-out in the Cloud.
- Manage and maintain support and observability tool sets.
- Serve as a liaison to technical, functional, and business stakeholders, facilitating communication among Development, QA, Product Management, Technical Operations, and Segment business leaders.
- Develop, facilitate, and maintain best-of-breed product support tools, including run books, monitoring dashboards, and knowledge bases.
- Automate operational tasks using scripting languages such as Python, Terraform, and Powershell.
Qualifications
- Freshers with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
- Industry-relevant technology certifications are highly desired but not mandatory.
