Responsibilities
- The Quality Engineer position at Propel Technology Group Inc. is open for employment!
- Obligations of the Applicant:
- Create thorough, well-organized, and descriptive test cases.
- Run manual test cases and evaluate the outcomes.
- Create, manage, and use frameworks for test automation.
- Use a bug-tracking system to find and report software flaws, then collaborate with the development team to diagnose, debug, and fix them.
- Report flaws and other testing results to developers and other stakeholders in a clear and succinct manner.
Education Qualifications
- Work together with cross-functional teams to guarantee quality and smooth integration at every stage of the software development process.
Skills
- a bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a similar discipline.
- adept at manual testing methods, such as gray, white, and black box testing.
- familiarity in configuring and utilizing automated testing technologies like JUnit, TestNG, and Selenium.
- Excellent communication abilities, both vocal and written.
- strong ability to reason logically and solve problems.
- knowledge of issue tracking software such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, etc.
- familiarity with agile approaches and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- familiarity with OWASP vulnerabilities and common application/web security issues.
