Responsibilities
- **Human-Centered Design:** Collaborate on the creation and meticulous optimization of user interfaces designed to provide seamless access to business-critical knowledge for individuals working with data and AI. This includes focusing on user experience and usability to ensure ease of access and intuitive navigation.
- **Performance Optimization:** Develop high-performance applications and actively pursue methods to minimize latency (even down to milliseconds) to build a remarkably efficient data catalog for the world's largest companies. This demands a strong understanding of performance bottlenecks and optimization techniques.
- **Cutting-Edge Technology:** Gain hands-on experience not only in utilizing state-of-the-art software stacks but also in developing new internal tools, including innovative design systems, high-speed SDKs, and infinitely scalable configuration-driven interfaces. This provides exposure to a wide array of technologies and methodologies.
- **Backend Integration:** Work in close collaboration with our backend engineering teams, who manage petabytes of data, to integrate APIs and sockets, ensuring exceptionally smooth data flow and seamless data integration between frontend and backend systems. This requires strong communication and collaboration skills.
Education Qualification
- Applicants must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Engineering in India and be able to commit to a full-time internship. A major or concentration in Computer Science or a closely related field is required. A one-week in-person onboarding session is mandatory, followed by a six-month fully remote full-time internship. Demonstrated commitment to the internship, a clear passion for and drive to succeed in the technology industry (to be evaluated through application questions and interview processes) are essential.
Skills
- Any skills are welcome; however, specific skills relevant to software engineering, data management, and user interface design will be highly advantageous. Experience with specific programming languages or technologies may be beneficial but is not a strict requirement.
