Job Description

We are seeking Graduate Trainees to join our expanding fintech organization based in Chennai, India.

Responsibilities

• Participate in structured training programs and workshops aimed at enhancing job-related competencies.
• Develop a thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle and its practical application in project execution.
• Pursue and obtain relevant IT certifications to enhance professional qualifications.
• Achieve proficiency in multiple programming languages.
• Gain practical experience in writing and debugging code.
• Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Project.
• Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication capabilities.
• Develop familiarity with diverse software and hardware systems.
• Provide assistance in the testing, debugging, and support of software solutions.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for future reference and knowledge sharing.
• Contribute to the maintenance and upgrading of existing software applications.
• Demonstrate adaptability and a proactive approach to learning new technologies and programming languages pertinent to the role.
• Engage in code reviews to refine and improve coding proficiency.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to interpret and implement detailed design specifications.
• Adhere strictly to project plans and industry best practices.
• Support the execution of tasks and projects under supervision, ensuring alignment with project objectives.

• Vigilantly monitor email alerts generated from production and lower environments for hosted clients.
• Maintain alertness during production deployments to monitor alerts emitted during the deployment window, promptly addressing any issues.
• Identify and report errors in job execution to the Support & Operations team, facilitating timely reprocessing of files.
• Develop detailed test cases based on project requirements and specifications.
• Execute test cases and thoroughly analyze the results to identify defects and anomalies.
• Review and validate test results to ensure adherence to established entry and exit criteria.
• Report defects and project status updates to relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure products and applications conform to established quality standards and industry best practices.
• Debug client-reported issues and replicate them in test environments to facilitate effective resolution.
• Willingness to work in shifts, accommodating APAC, UK, and US hours as required.
• Provide weekend support for production systems on a rotational basis, contributing to continuous client support availability.

Qualifications

• Engineering graduates with 0-1 years of relevant experience.
• Preferred educational background: B.Tech or B.E in Computer Science or related field (2024 or 2025 graduates).
