Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Junior Entry Level ReactJS/NodeJS Front End Engineer to integrate into our vibrant engineering team. This position represents an exceptional opportunity for recent graduates or early-career professionals to establish a solid foundation in web development. Under the direction of senior developers, the successful candidate will contribute to the development, testing, and maintenance of our ReactJS-based user interfaces, alongside the supporting Node.js backend services. This role offers valuable practical experience with contemporary web technologies and industry best practices, all within a supportive and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Code Development: Develop, test, and debug clean and efficient ReactJS components and Node.js code for the implementation of new features and improvements under appropriate supervision.
• Bug Fixing: Assist in the identification and resolution of software defects and related issues.
• Testing: Participate in unit testing procedures and provide support for integration testing to ensure the delivery of high-quality code.
• Learning & Growth: Proactively engage in learning new technologies, tools, and best practices, both through guidance from senior team members and independent study.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members, including senior developers, UX/UI designers, and QA specialists, to gain a thorough understanding of project requirements and contribute effectively to the achievement of project objectives.
• Documentation: Assist in the creation and ongoing maintenance of technical documentation.
• Code Review Participation: Actively participate in and learn from code reviews to enhance code quality and understanding.
• Support: Provide necessary support for existing applications as required.

Qualifications

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or another related technical discipline is required.
• Experience: Applicants should possess 0-2 years of professional experience in web development, or demonstrate substantial academic project experience utilizing ReactJS and Node.js.
• ReactJS Fundamentals: A fundamental understanding of ReactJS core concepts is required, including components, props, state management, and basic hooks.
• Node.js Basics: A basic understanding of Node.js for server-side JavaScript is necessary, encompassing the creation or consumption of basic APIs.
• Modern JavaScript/TypeScript: A solid comprehension of modern JavaScript (ES6+) and familiarity with TypeScript are essential.
• Web Technologies: A basic understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design principles is required.
• API Interaction: A basic understanding of the mechanisms involved in consuming RESTful APIs is required.
• AI Code Generation: Familiarity with foundational AI concepts and practical experience applying AI-powered coding generation (e.g., OpenAI Codex, GitHub Copilot, Anthropic Claude, Cursor, Windsurf or understanding of transformer-based code generation) will be a significant asset.
• Testing: Familiarity with the underlying principles of unit testing is expected.
• Version Control: Familiarity with Git is essential.
• Problem Solving: A demonstrated eagerness to learn and a basic aptitude for effective problem-solving are necessary.
• Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills, coupled with a willingness to ask clarifying questions, are essential.
