Job Description
Deloitte is seeking a creative and passionate Instructional Designer for its Talent Services – Learning Design Services (LDS) team in Hyderabad, India. This role involves designing and developing engaging learning solutions tailored to client requirements and desired learning outcomes. The Instructional Designer will be responsible for researching, analyzing, designing, and developing customized instructional materials, applying various instructional strategies, models, and theories. The role requires visualizing content, collaborating with graphic designers for visual assets, and ensuring client satisfaction with all deliverables. Responsibilities
- Analyze instructional design project requirements and collaborate with the Project Manager on scope and solutions.
- Design and develop learning deliverables using common tools and templates.
- Create storyboards and design specifications for content development.
- Develop training materials including instructor guides, participant guides, hands-on activities, handouts, diagrams, pictures, job aids, and self-study materials.
- Provide regular progress updates to the Project Manager.
- Escalate any issues that impact the timeliness or scope of instructional design/development projects.
- Collaborate effectively with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
- Write content, design, and develop learning solutions to address and enhance organizational performance.
- Create storyboards and other learning assets to build solutions meeting business needs.
- Work with graphic designers to develop the final product within specified timelines.
- Collaborate with subject matter specialists to resolve content queries.
Qualifications
- Graduate/Post-graduate degree.
- Proficiency in MS Office, specifically MS Word and MS PowerPoint.
- Excellent creative writing and project management skills.
- Ability to write clear, concise, and effective instructions.
- Familiarity with courseware development tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Articulate Presenter, and Adapt.
- Understanding of learning needs and project specifications.
- Capability to research, analyze, design, develop, and write content.
- Experience in creating and revising storyboards for various delivery formats.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact at all professional levels.
- Advanced attention to detail is crucial for success in this role.
- Knowledge of the basics of instructional design, various instructional strategies, models, and theories is preferred.
