The selection process consists of three stages:

Stage 1: Computer Based Test (CBT)

100 Objective Questions
Duration: 120 Minutes
Domain Knowledge – 60 Marks
General Aptitude – 40 Marks
No Negative Marking

Stage 2: Skill / Proficiency Test (SPT)

Candidates shortlisted in CBT will appear for the Skill/Proficiency Test. It is qualifying in nature.

Stage 3: Medical Examination

Final appointment will be subject to successful medical fitness verification.

Education Required:

Candidates must possess a Full-Time Regular Diploma approved by AICTE in one of the following disciplines:
Chemical Engineering / Chemical Technology
Mechanical Engineering
Electrical Engineering
Electrical & Electronics Engineering
Electrical Power System
Electrical Engineering (Industrial Control)
Candidates with Part-Time, Distance, Correspondence Diploma, B.E., B.Tech., or AMIE qualifications are not eligible for these posts.

Required Experience
Applicants must have:
Minimum 1 year of post-qualification work experience, OR
Minimum 1 year Apprenticeship under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961
Experience should be in industries such as:
Refinery
Petroleum
Petrochemical
Fertilizer
Lubricants
Power Industry
Mechanical and Electrical candidates from reputed Engineering Industries are also eligible.
