Responsibilities

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are essential. The ideal candidate will possess extensive practical experience supporting a wide array of applications within a technical service environment. Proficiency in PC applications is required. Strong analytical and creative problem-solving abilities are crucial. This role involves working a 24/7 rotating shift pattern, including night shifts (flexibility to work nights is mandatory). Fundamental knowledge of IIS (Internet Information Services) and SQL (Structured Query Language) is necessary.

Skills

• Troubleshoot and provide application support to clients using Microsoft technologies. Responsibilities may include: analyzing business processes, conducting needs assessments to align IT solutions with business objectives, troubleshooting IIS, web hosting, and other production application and service-related issues. Database knowledge, including writing SQL queries, is essential to fulfill the job requirements. Experience within a Business Process Services (BPS) or Production Control industry group is a significant advantage. Specific skills include providing SQL Server database expertise, participating in performance monitoring and optimization, and communicating effectively with both internal software development teams and external clients through strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication. Adaptability to changing priorities and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously are essential. The candidate will provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing cost-effective systems and procedures that meet user requirements. This includes configuring system settings and options, planning and executing acceptance testing, and creating system specifications aligned with business needs.
