Responsibilities

  • As a data analyst, your duties will include:
  • Convert business needs into "high-level" design solutions, such as SQL mapping and document mapping.
  • Engage in frequent prioritization and standup meetings.
  • Produce prototypes and test cases; carry out testing during the development, testing, and production phases.
  • Examine and verify information from sources.

Education Qualifications

  • a bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, or a related field

Skills

  • It would be advantageous to understand mainframe ideas.
  • Practical knowledge of mainframe hardware, including LPARs, features, CECs, engines, MIPS, RAM, and orders
  • Knowledge of licensing, value metrics, aggregation, MSUs, and value units for mainframe software
  • knowledge of mainframe revenue, including unbundling, majors/minors, brands/divisions, hardware, and software
  • Being conversant with complex ideas is advantageous. Sub-capacity, on-demand services, leasing, upkeep, storage, and royalties
  • Knowledge of DB2 or another relational database system is necessary.
  • Requires prior data warehousing experience
  • Expert-level SQL knowledge is necessary.
  • understanding of database architecture and relational database theory
  • expertise integrating technological designs with business requirements
  • knowing the DevOps methodology for developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining software
  • Knowledge of the Agile methodology for software development
  • Working in a mainframe development environment prior experience is advantageous.
  • strong communication abilities both in writing and speaking
