Responsibilities
- Write SQL queries to extract, join, and validate data.
- Perform data cleaning and preparation using Python libraries such as Pandas and NumPy.
- Assist in building datasets specifically for reporting and dashboard creation.
- Conduct basic data integrity checks, including identifying duplicates, handling missing values, and performing reconciliation.
- Provide support for tasks within AI/ML or Generative AI (GenAI) use cases.
- Assist with prompt testing, preparing datasets, and evaluating AI model responses.
- Contribute to simple proof-of-concept (POC) projects, such as developing chatbot flows, document Q&A systems, or supporting classification/prediction models.
- Clearly document learning experiences and project outcomes.
- Adhere to established coding standards and participate in code review processes.
- Utilize Git/GitHub for code updates and version control.
- Write clean, readable code and perform basic unit checks as needed.
- Develop simple technical notes and user guides.
- Collaborate with senior team members within agile frameworks, participating in daily updates, task boards, and sprint work.
- Proactively seek assistance when encountering roadblocks.
- Communicate project progress effectively to leads.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in B.E./B. Tech/MCA.
- Preferred educational streams include Computer Science, IT, AI, Data Science, or related fields.
- Possess basic to good hands-on experience with Python, including functions, loops, file operations, and debugging.
- Have strong foundational knowledge of SQL, encompassing joins, group by clauses, subqueries, and filtering.
- Demonstrate a basic understanding of fundamental data concepts such as data types, arrays/lists, dictionaries, error handling, debugging, and formulating logical steps for problem-solving.
- Familiarity with data handling tools like Pandas and NumPy.
- Experience with data cleaning and transformation processes.
- Understanding of relational database concepts, including tables, keys, and relationships.
- Exhibit a strong problem-solving mindset and a proactive learning attitude.
- Possess clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Must be able to work from the office and adhere to project timelines.
