Job Description
This is an Early in Career, full-time IT Engineer position designed for recent graduates to launch their careers. The role offers an immersive learning program focused on expanding technical capabilities and understanding the TJX IT environment and the software engineering lifecycle. The program includes digital learning, hands-on application, group projects, and targeted coaching from trainers, managers, and mentors. Graduates can specialize in areas such as Platform Engineering, Data and Automation Solutions, Security Engineering, Software Development, or Product Configuration. The role involves collaborating in an Agile environment to build and improve technology solutions, working with a global IT organization, and learning about TJX’s business and technologies.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with experienced technology engineers and specialists in an Agile environment to identify innovative technology solutions for the global business.
- Build innovative technology solutions to enhance existing platforms.
- Design, code, and/or test technology solutions.
- Partner with the Global IT organization across the U.S., Canada, Europe, and Australia.
- Learn about TJX’s business operations and technologies.
- Review and evolve current processes.
- Work autonomously and collaboratively in groups to address challenges, advance projects, and complete assignments.
- Participate in cross-functional group projects.
- Present solutions and share work throughout the organization.
Qualifications
- Must be a 2024 or 2025 graduate who has completed their degree.
- Minimum CGPA of 7.0 (or equivalent) with no active or pending backlogs.
- Strong computer science fundamentals.
- Strong programming proficiency in languages such as Java, Python, C++, Go, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, and SQL.
- Minimum of 3 months of internship or academic project experience demonstrating applied engineering learning.
- Self-starters with the ability to learn and grow in a fast-paced, professional environment.
- Creative problem solvers.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
- Curiosity and eagerness to learn.
