Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Project/Program Management Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship offers hands-on experience assisting in the management of on-premises and SaaS product delivery within our Engineering organization. You will contribute to the planning, management, and execution of numerous technical programs and initiatives across our product portfolio. Under the close mentorship of experienced team members, you will gain practical experience in improving processes throughout the software development lifecycle, from development and validation to deployment.

A critical aspect of this role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to understand the intricacies of delivering large features and initiatives, including their associated technical complexities. You will learn to navigate complex situations, evaluate risks, and align project activities with overall business priorities within our software development process. This position provides valuable experience in managing tasks in a fast-paced environment, honing technical expertise, and contributing to improvements in key performance metrics. You will learn to effectively communicate project status, and contribute to the successful delivery of features to market.

Responsibilities

• - Collaborate with Engineering and Product Leadership, as well as cross-functional teams including Product Management and Customer Support, to prioritize, plan, and execute the delivery of new features and products.
• - Effectively communicate project schedules, status updates, and any encountered issues to all relevant stakeholders.
• **Risk Management:**
• - Proactively identify potential risks and actively participate in developing comprehensive mitigation plans.
• - Collaborate closely with development teams to assist in addressing and resolving issues that may impact project timelines and deliverables.

Education Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.

Skills

• Previous coursework or internship experience in Product/Program Management, Quality Engineering, or Software Development is highly preferred.
• - A basic understanding of SaaS architecture, cloud services, and common release management tools is advantageous.
• - Demonstrated excellence in both written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills.
• - Proven strong analytical skills and a proactive problem-solving approach.
• - Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• - Ability to adapt readily to shifting priorities and work effectively within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• - A demonstrated interest in, or experience applying, Agile development methodologies within a 24x7 operational environment is highly desirable.
